One Year of Allen’s Plumbing and Heating
It’s hard to believe that it’s already been a year since we became Allen’s Plumbing and Heating.
The past 12 months have been incredibly
busy and we just want to take a moment
to say thank you to all of our customers
who have supported us along the way.
While the Allen’s name may be one year
old, our experience certainly isn’t.
With over 30 years in the plumbing and heating trade, we’ve built our reputation
on reliable service, honest advice, and
high-quality workmanship. That foundation hasn’t changed - if anything, this past year has allowed us to build on it even further.
Growing Our Services to Support You
Over the last year, we’ve expanded what we offer so we can support more of our customers’ needs, both at home and in business.
Over the past year, we’ve introduced:
LPG (Caravans & Mobile Homes) - including LPG gas safety checks, LPG boiler servicing, and general plumbing and heating maintenance
LPG Mobile & Commercial Catering - safety certification for mobile catering appliances, alongside commercial catering services supporting local businesses with reliable, compliant systems
Air Source Heat Pumps - helping customers explore more energy-efficient heating solutions
These additions mean we’re able to offer a more complete service, while still maintaining the same level of care and attention we’re known for.
Looking Ahead to Summer: Air Conditioning
As we head towards the warmer months, we’re helping customers stay cool and comfortable with our air conditioning installations - available for homes in and around Colchester, as well as small businesses including salons, vets, gyms, schools, and offices.
Air conditioning isn’t just for summer, many systems also offer heating, making them a smart, all-year-round solution for a wide range of spaces.
We’re currently offering free first servicing with all new air conditioning installations, helping you maintain performance and efficiency from day one.

This year, we also welcomed a new (and very popular!) member to the team Mila the puppy 🐾, who has quickly settled into office life.
