Meet the Team

Owner of Allen’s Plumbing & Heating
Clive has over 30 years experience in the trade, being fully qualified in gas, oil, lpg and F gas
From a young age Clive previously worked alongside his father and then managed his own business with his wife Amy, together creating Allen’s plumbing & Heating providing all aspects of plumbing, heating and
air conditioning
Clive’s passion to provide outstanding customer service shines through from the moment you shake his hand.
He is a proud father of two children, enjoys spending time with friends and family and keeping fit

Owner and Office Administrator
Amy has worked together with Clive for over 15 years, starting with the company’s general accounts to handling the everyday running of our busy office in Layer De La Haye
Amy is married to Clive and mother to their two children
When not working you will find Amy spending time with friends and family, running and plenty of walking with the family dog.

Fully Qualified Gas and Oil Engineer
Adam has over 15 years experience in the plumbing and heating trade, previously he has proudly served 20 years within the British Army as a Paratrooper to then become a fully qualified gas engineer.
Adam is a valued part of our team and specialises in full heating installations and boiler repairs.
Outside of work Adam enjoys spending time with family & friends, he is a keen boxer and enjoys his fitness

Plumbing and Heating Apprentice
Andrew will be starting his level 3 plumbing and heating apprenticeship course at Colchester Institute this September.
He will work alongside our team 4 days a week and attend college 1 day a week.
Andrew is very keen to learn and develop his skills within the industry and we look forward to him starting his apprenticeship with us
When not working Andrew enjoys playing basketball and football, travelling and spending time with friends and family.

Michelle has over 15 years experience with administration and accounts, working alongside a family business which she continues to offer support with. Previous roles have included call handling, primary school administration role and even working in the police service which also included administration and statistical advice for senior police officers.
Michelle is our newest member of the team and has settled in well. Michelle is a busy mum of two, who enjoys spending time with family, fitness with friends and the occasional glass of wine.

Fully Qualified Gas and Oil Engineer

David has over 25 years of plumbing & heating experience. Specialising in installing, servicing and diagnosing boiler breakdowns, cylinders and heat pumps.
David is a valued part of the team handling the large part of our boiler servicing and installation work.
When not working David enjoys his time with his family and socialising with friends.

Plumbing and Heating Engineer

Robbie has 10 years experience within the plumbing and heating industry, he began his career providing installations, repairs and maintenance on residential and industrial plumbing systems

Robbie is a valued part of our team and specialises in full bathroom refurbishments,general plumbing and heating installations.

When he is not on the tools Robbie enjoys time with friends and family and regular fishing trips.

With over 25 years experience, Dave is a fully qualified gas engineer specialising in boiler fault diagnostics and heating repairs.
Previously Dave has worked as a technical support engineer for Anglia and North Hertfordshire for 10 years.
Dave is a valued part of our team and when not working he enjoys off road biking and spending time with friends and family.

His visit to assess our requirements and discuss options was useful and clear, the quote arrived promptly and covered everything we had agreed. Amy in the office was happy to answer all our questions and adjust the order to our amendments.
The installation of our new boiler and associated parts was carried out in a fully professional manner, with carpet protectors and dustsheets laid before any work began and all areas kept clean and tidy during and after the work. The fitters told us what was happening at each stage, checking we understood and were happy with progress.
After completion on day 2, Clive took the time to demonstrate and explain the features of the boiler and controls, and his manner has been friendly, cheerful and helpful throughout.
